Independent CFD model review
Before a design decision rests on a simulation, have it checked by someone who did not build it. The review reads the model the way a design-review board would and reports what the results support and what they do not.
Questions this work answers
- Are the physical models and boundary conditions appropriate for the question?
- Is the solution converged, balanced and insensitive enough to the mesh to be used?
- Which conclusions does the model support, and which need more work?
What the work covers
- Problem definition, geometry simplifications, material and fluid properties
- Physical models, boundary conditions, mesh and solver settings
- Convergence history, balances, sensitivity evidence and any comparison with data
What it cannot tell you
A review is based on the model files and report you provide; rerunning cases is agreed separately. The findings state how each one affects the conclusion.
